IT Intern
IT Intern: $10-$13/hour Medical Software/Hardware development company, office in BCS area, in person contract job, on TAMU/Blinn bus route, flexible hours. Tech support, software development, training, documentation, sales. IT/STEM students preferred.
Multiple positions starting September 1, 2021.
Medical software development firm looking for interns with various IT experience/training for part time contract positions. This is a rare chance to gain insight into the entire software development life cycle. Students currently enrolled in an IT related major preferred.
Starting position duties will include answering phones, first line desktop, software and hardware support. Other potential duties include: requirements gathering, solution planning, MS Dot Net software development, feature documentation, technical writing, web site development/maintenance, end user training, technical support, Microsoft SQL Server set up and maintenance, Transact SQL development, responding to sales inquiries and other various duties as your skills and interests allow.
All employees will be asked to participate in software/hardware testing and code reviews, regardless of skill levels.
This is an in person job, on a bus route, in a professional office building in the BCS area. Flexible early morning through mid-afternoon, weekday hours available (7:00 AM-3:00 PM). 15 to 25 hours a week, but we are willing to try and work around your class schedule. $10 - $13 hour depending on experience.
Computer Science, Business and STEM students are encouraged to apply.

PC hardware repair experience a plus
Microsoft Visual Studio and Dot Net (VB and/or C#) experience a plus
Microsoft SQL Server and/or Transact SQL experience a plus
Networking experience a plus
Any computer related skills/experience could be beneficial, with that in mind, please tell us more about your experience with computers such as swapping out hard drives, re-installing Windows or any other technical tasks you have performed or proficiency you possess.
