Ranch Property Project Manager
The owner of property used for recreation, hunting, and hay farming is looking for a dependable part-time self-starter for a variety of semi-skilled projects, most to be performed independently, to maintain the grounds and facilities of the property. The employee would be expected to use and operate a variety of farm, manual, and power tools and equipment. Examples of some of the duties include prep work for hunting season, cutting down dead trees, maintenance of the yard and fields, periodically running the farm equipment, upkeep and chemical treatment of the ponds, projects to rid the property of moles, armadillo, and other pesky animals that harm the yard and fields, projects to deter the hogs, building of a fishing pier for one of the ponds and supervising nonemployee contractors visiting the property. The position has significant schedule flexibility estimated to vary between 8 and 25 hours per week with days and times mostly determined by the employee. The personal use of the property for fishing and hunting could be discussed.
