Reporting to the VP Finance, the Finance Director, FP&A will provide high-level, value-added support to B2B leadership and coordinate with the MLT and Media FP&A leads.

Overall job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in development of operational and capital budget and flash processes and timelines.
  • Role in preparation/consolidation of corporate cost center budgets, quarter estimates and monthly flashes
  • Preparation of cross department financial reporting and dashboards
  • General day-to-day support of business leads
  • Lead the development, deployment, and ongoing monitoring of expense controls and policies
  • Coordinate with accounting and field teams as necessary
  • Serving as a team member for ad hoc projects and other assignments as needed
BASE SALARY: $120,000 annually
 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares budgets, quarter estimates and flashes with high degree of timeliness and accuracy.
  • Prepares reporting for period end financial performance, quarterly audit review, board reports and ad hoc as needed.
  • Provides analytical reporting for senior management team.
  • Variance Analysis of actual performance to projections, including recommending adjustments to process and or policy to improve bottom line performance.
  • Acts as a liaison between FP&A and accounting
  • Manages and develops solid relationships with key financial and management partners.
  • Fields requests and questions from finance, management, audit and senior leadership on timely basis.
  • Serves as a team member for special projects/programs as needed.
  • Maintains an extensive working knowledge of products and organizational structure.

Position Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial analytical role. Experience should include what-if, modeling, statistical analysis
  • 2-3 years of experience working in an advisory capacity to senior management.
  • Bachelors in a financial degree program.
  • Experience in Media/Advertising a plus.
  • Key knowledge required and degree of competency:

Expert Knowledge

  • Excel, EPM/BPC

Working Knowledge

  • PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation of media/marketing information is necessary.

Exposure to

  • Crystal Reporting, Tableau or other data visualization software
  • Lawson general ledger, Basware accounts payable
  • Microsoft Access a plus

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $130,500 and $244,950.  Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
