Operation Specialist - Valley Mills Drive Branch
The Operations Specialist is the initial point of contact for credit union services. Provides a broad range of services to members in person, by phone, or by mail. Functions as a Member Service Representative at the front desk and provides assistance to the Financial Service Representative staff. Provides member account information, credit union investment and savings opportunities; takes loan applications; processes and closes loans; assists members in setting up new accounts and making changes in existing accounts. Executes direct deposit and payroll deduction requests. Resolves member errors when possible.
Successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Excellent communication skills
Minimum 2 years of Customer & Member service skills preferably in a financial or sales environment
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Positive teamwork ethic
Quick solution skills for problem solving
Bi-lingual skills a plus
High School Diploma or equivalent required; previous lending experience plus one year of college preferred
Satisfactory credit required
