Salary: Based on Experience
Travel Required: 5%
Duties: Provide excellent care and service through the provision of patient care & assistance to the provider. Protocols are the foundation of the care provided, including but not limited to lab specimen collections, injections, phlebotomy, in-house lab tests, vaccines, screenings and referrals.
Education & Work Experience
Required for MA: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program with 1-3 months of related experience OR 6 months' commensurate work experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient healthcare setting
Preferred for MA: Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Required for CMA: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program with 1-3 months of related experience
Preferred for CMA: 3-6 months of related experience; Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Licenses, Certificates, Certifications or Registration:
Required for MA: Certificate of completion from a Medical Assistant Training Program OR if commensurate work experience, a High School Diploma or GED; Current CPR Certification
Required for CMA: Certificate of completion as a Certified Medical Assistant OR Registered as a Certified Medical Assistant; Current CPR Certification
Preferred for CMA: National EMS Certification
