Associate Director of Strategic Programs
Mitratech is a proven global technology partner for corporate legal and compliance teams. Our approach to work is proactive, collaborative, and committed. The professionals who are thriving at Mitratech are people who know how to balance individual excellence with teamwork.
Our Associate Director of Strategic Programs (ADSP) leads and supports cross-functional strategic and tactical initiatives to world class completion through extensive planning, focused execution, and diligent follow through. You will act as an analyst, coordinator, and program manager while providing support to the CEO, DSP, and executive team. You will be expected to execute on organization-wide initiatives, enhance internal operations, and drive meaningful change by proactively managing and monitoring cross-departmental projects that drive long-term business value.
To make all of the above possible, you MUST be adept at leading projects and programs with clear plans, priorities, accountability, and passion. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with leadership while learning the ins and outs of running a software business. The right candidate is a 10 out of 10 on organization, able to balance their analytical and interpersonal skills, has strong executive presence, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You must also be able to influence without direct line authority.
What will you be doing?
Well, if you want exposure to executive leadership, this is the role you want. You will be expected to work closely with the CEO and Director, Strategic Programs (DSP) to support a variety of critical and high-impact initiatives and programs that enable the company to achieve its short- and long-term goals.
You will not only track progress, but also be counted on to drive prioritization, visibility, and execution. This is NOT a check-the-box kind of role!
Do you like to juggle? This role must maintain project schedules, delegate tasks, identify dependencies, and drive awareness while pushing for crisp execution against tight due dates (some of which you will have a hand in setting). Additionally, you will define, track, and refine metrics and KPIs that tie back to the business health and successful execution of strategic projects and initiatives.
How will you be measured?
Look over this list and ask yourself, is this you?
- Mental Agility - you have a keen intellect and are comfortable with complexity and adept at tackling new challenges and solving problems
- Work Ethic - ownership is your middle name and you are willing to put it in the hours needed to drive to results
- Leadership - you have no issue leading through influence and you exhibit a professional presence and the ability to communicate and drive results successfully with all levels of leadership
- Business acumen and judgment - you catch on to the inner workings of a business quickly and have the ability to apply executive judgment to make decisions
- Detail-orientation - thoroughness is your other middle name because you deliver an exceptional level of accuracy
- Written communication - you are skilled at crafting communications and developing presentations that will be shared across the organization and with the board of directors.
What experience is Mitratech looking for?
Yes, we want a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, but also experience in change management and driving organizational process improvement. You really need to have STRONG project management skills with examples of successful completion of diverse projects on-time and on-budget. You have to be able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment, get "into the weeds" as well as take a strategic view.
You need mad O365 skills, by the way. Be prepared, because we will test those mad skills.
If you can follow through without oversight, you will thrive in this role.
If you have the ability to take a concept, internalize it, rally others around, drive its implementation, and identify ways to continuously improve it, you will thrive in this role.
Oh, and you should be open to working in Austin, TX and have the ability to travel (post-Covid, of course).
