Job Duties
  • Assist and support the Quality Control Manager with attending regularly scheduled management
  • team meetings to maintain management structure and ensure contract compliance.
  • Assist and support Quality Control Manager in monitoring all aspects of the delivery of food services; to include
  • customer service for Dining Service facilities to the students and Morgan community.
  • Assist and support the Quality Control Manager in reviewing Executive Catering requests for
  • Presidential catering events and other events as required.
  • Assist and support the Quality Control Manager in reviewing Sanilialion, pest control, and other reports for
  • determination and assessment of compliance responsibility and necessary corrective actions.
  • Assist and support the Quality Control Manager is the routine inspections of dining services food
  • facilities and operations.
  • Assist and support the Quality Control Manager in managing and facilitating repairs for all
  • University Dining Services equipment.
  • Assist and support the Quality Control Manager in monitoring the web and social media sites, to
  • ensure that all marketing and other information is timely and accurate.
Requested Minimum Qualifications

Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor Degree in Business, Food Science, or appropriate equivalent from an accredited
college or university is required.

Experience:
At least 3 – 5 years of relevant managerial food services and/or catering experience; specifically
experience with supervision, inventory management, budgeting, etc. is required.

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge;
  • Must be able to travel away once or twice a year for regional and/or national industry conferences.
  • Additionally, the candidate must be able to traverse the campus and visit the different dining services locations throughout the campus.
  • Physical Working Conditions: (e.g., office environment)
  • Must be able to work on-the-go, in both an office environment and in a kitchen environment, with the flexibility to be able to adapt to a continually changing work environment.
