Teachers, Speech Language Pathologist, Custodial Worker

Oneonta, New York, is a city in Otsego County, located in Central New York State. The Oneonta City School District is comprised of the City of Oneonta, Town of Oneonta, and portions of the towns of Laurens, Maryland, Milford, and Davenport and spans approximately 49 square miles. This beautiful region of Central New York State was initially inhabited by the Iroquois and other Native American tribes. European colonists began settling in the area in the late 18th century, and a township here was officially established in 1830.

Oneonta City School District is accepting applications for the following positions:

• Spanish Teacher - Middle School Candidates must have a valid NYS Certification in Spanish 7-12.
• Mathematics Teacher - Anticipated Candidates must have a valid NYS Certification in Mathematics 7-12.
• Speech Language Pathologist Candidates must be licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in NY and have a NY Teaching Certification in Speech and Language Disabilities.
• Custodial Worker One (1) year of work experience in general cleaning and/or custodial work.

As of the date of application, candidates may be required to possess a valid New York State driver's license & must maintain said license for the duration of employment, depending on the incumbent's area of assignment.
