Position Summary

Essential Job Functions
Oversee staffing needs at distribution center (DC) site (s)Assist with the recruiting process of new associates; including the selection and hiring processOnboard new associates and conduct orientation and appropriate trainingCoordinate programs to promote retentionEnsure personnel files are maintained according to company guidelinesStrive to effectively solve problems for the mutual benefit of the company and its associates, provide education and direction for management on contract interpretation, labor relations principles and effective conflict resolutionFacilitate training on-site as directed by corporate LogisticsMaintain confidentially and exercise discretionParticipate in safety training and promote at facilitySupervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reportsMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications
High School Diploma or GEDExcellent written, verbal and presentation skillsDemonstrated leadership skillsProficient in Microsoft Office programsMust be organized and detail orientedAbility to travel independently (> 25%)Oversee facility with less than 250 associates (Level 5)Oversee multiple facilities, associate size 250 500 (Level 6)Oversee multiple facilities, associate size greater than 500 (Level 7Desired Previous Experience/Education
