CDL Driver, Operator, Laborer

Big Rock Paving and Rylind Construction Company are hiring now for CDL Drivers, Operators and Laborers.  These are Full-Time positions that are eligible Medical, Dental, Vision and 401k.  Please see below for more information on these positions.

A Truck Driver is responsible for getting materials and equipment to and from their assigned job site. The truck driver will be directly responsible for their assigned truck. Truck Driver’s will be expected to cooperate and work productively with all members of Big Rock Paving, LLC and Rylind Construction Company, Inc.

• Must possess and maintain a CDL Class A or B and any driver associated documentation.
• Must have reliable transportation, follow attendance policy and be ready to work at their designated start time.
• Must pass a drug screen prior to employment and maintain a drug-free status in compliance with the FMCSA.

The Heavy Equipment Operator must be knowledgeable of the machine they are operating. They must understand capacities, maintenance requirements, and general practices for the machine they are operating. If, by OSHA requirements, a license/certification is required, they will have the license/certification in good standing throughout employment with Rylind Construction. They will be responsible for the daily maintenance of the machine they are operating. They will also be responsible for coordinating any repairs to the equipment with the Dispatcher. The Operator will be expected to cooperate and work productively with all members of Big Rock Paving, LLC and Rylind Construction Company, Inc., and Rylind Traffic Services (when applicable).

The laborer is responsible for the majority of the physical labor performed on the Job. A Laborer will be responsible in assisting the needs of carpenters, operators, and jobsite supervision. This position is an entry level position that can be useful in learning more about bridge construction prior to attaining a more skilled position such as skilled laborer, carpenter, or operator. The laborer will be expected to cooperate and work productively with all members of Big Rock Paving, LLC and Rylind Construction Company, Inc., and Rylind Traffic Services (when applicable).
