Groundskeeper

Under the supervision of the Foreman, the Groundskeeper performs manual and skilled work maintaining grounds, equipment, and public facilities. This position assists skilled trade workers in related tasks and jobs. Operates power mowers, clippers, and power tools used in municipal maintenance; lays sod; waters parks and grounds; rakes; picks up paper and other trash from assigned areas; and, places fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides. Assists other team members as required. High school diploma or equivalent required along with a minimum of one (1) year of related experience. Valid Florida Driver’s License is also required.

Pay range: $16.51 to $26.42 per hour.
