The Project Manager for Experiential Learning will serve a pivotal role in the success of the A.B. Freeman School of Business’ experiential learning efforts. The project manager serves as the central point of contact for students, faculty, and partner companies to ensure smooth operations of projects, timely delivery of deliverables, and effective communication throughout the program.

As a member of the Experiential Learning team, the Project Manager will plan, track, and report on the progress of experiential learning projects of all sizes for the AB Freeman School of Business. The Project Manager is reliable, capable of collaborating with and organizing multiple teams, completes tasks on time, and shows a desire to learn. The Project Manager guides the student and faculty project team(s) throughout the entire project lifecycle to ensure success as defined by project scope, deliverables, and timeline. The Project Manager communicates proactively with all involved stakeholders, identifies problems, and creates solutions. The Project Manager facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution, and provides support to the team by assisting with internal and external communication. The Project Manager anticipates future project needs and stays informed of relevant trends and industry news. The Project Manager leans on experience and skill to mentor others in project management. They provide expertise as needed to support team efficiency and success.

This position reports to the faculty Director of Experiential Learning and collaborates closely with the Assistant Dean for Corporate Relations in the development of the Schwartz Family Center for Experiential Business Learning. This center is a cutting-edge space within the Freeman School that hosts classes and interactive events and will feature the latest technology to enable undergraduate and graduate students to work collaboratively with industry.
