Job Summary
Thirty-five years ago I took my first job in a restaurant kitchen, making salads in a high volume Italian concept in front of Fayette Mall. I've never regretted it for a single minute. I love cooking, I love restaurants and I love the people that I have the honor of working with. The thrill of running a station on a busy line, the satisfaction of a beautiful plate of food, and the fun of getting to know all kinds of people: farmers, butchers, cooks, servers.
Being a chef is extremely rewarding. Learning the skills required in a professional kitchen will carry through to all aspects of your life- from being able to better cook for your family and friends to improved communication and relationship skills. Our group of restaurants is special.
We value you- As an individual, in the work you do, as a member of our team
We will invest in you- Through training, education, opportunity, advancement
We want you to grow with us- In creativity, emotional and physical well-being, financial stability, personal fulfillment
We make delicious food, sourced as much as possible from farms right here in Kentucky. We are hiring across the board, from entry-level to management, and our wages are great, especially if you have experience.
If you're a young cook just getting started: passion and a love for food and people are what it's all about. We can teach you the rest. Dedication and a desire to learn will help you in all areas of life, and will lead to quick advancement in our kitchens.
If you'd like to learn more, connect with me and our Culinary Director Tyler McNabb below. We'd love to meet you and share what we have to offer.
